TOKYO -- Former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso begins a visit to New York on Monday during which he will try to meet with former President Donald Trump.
This marks the second trip to the U.S. this year by Aso, who serves as vice president of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party. His latest visit is scheduled to last until Thursday.
